Commissioned by: British Rail and the Greater London Council as part of  a programme to decorate some London’s Stations including mosaics by Eduardo Paolozzi for Tottenham Court Road.

Funded by:  Greater London Arts – funded the artist team, Berger paints.

The murals had been demolished in early 1999 when British Rail was privatised and replaced by South Western Rail.

The murals were painted by Graeme Wilson – wall mural and Sue Ridge – ceiling aided by young people recruited by the Community Task Force, a condition of the commission.
