Commissioned by: Battersea Residents Action Group and Brian Barnes. Brian and Ailene Barnes founded Wandsworth Mural Workshop to produce this mural as a protest against Morgan Crucible proprietors of the neighbouring defunct factory proposing the development of luxury riverside residents.

Funded by: Wandsworth Council for paint; donations of ladders and scaffolding.

Demolished stealthily overnight in 1978, eight months after its opening. It ended when Brian was prosecuted for public disorder and the magistrate castigated the police and dismissed the case.
